Geometric Representation in a Fundamental Context 2 is the third course in the Secondary V Science sequence. It aims to develop the learner’s skills in dealing with situations based on spatial descriptions or representations.
The SOLUTIONS learning approach is based on the acquisition of all the prescribed mathematical knowledge in a problem-solving context.
Learners will study geometry concepts, namely:
They will be introduced to the concept of vectors and their properties for the first time. They will complete their learning by expanding their knowledge of trigonometric identities.
Learners will be taught to use various resolution strategies to understand and model problem situations by using their ability to deploy mathematical reasoning. Then, learners will be asked to use mathematical language to describe their resolution procedures with clarity and rigour.
