The certification exams offered online by SOFAD are prescribed under the Pesticides Act which states that sellers and users of pesticides must demonstrate competence in their respective field of activity and obtain certification from the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCCFP).
The certificate is issued by the MELCCFP when the applicant passes the examination prescribed or recognized by the MELCCFP.
