Communiquer pour trouver un emploi is the third course for Secondary V French as a Second Language. In this course, learners learn effective communication skills that will help them in their job search. The learning guide, based on an independent study approach, will prepare learners to undergo a job interview in French.
Duration: 50 hours (2 units)
Content:
The learning guide consists of nine modules. In each module, the learner is required to complete a task designed to develop his/her job search skills.

- Et que faites-vous dans la vie?
- Parlons argent;
- Je remplis des formulaires de demande d’emploi;
- Je rédige mon curriculum vitae;
- Des mots-clés pour chercher un employ;
- Je parle de ma participation au marché du travail;
- Je m’informe sur des offres d’emploi;
- Je rédige une lettre de candidature;
- Je me prépare pour un entretien d’embauche.
Evaluation:
The passing grade for the Scored Activities is 60%.
The passing grade for the end of course evaluation is 60%.
