The Pesticides Act states that sellers and users of pesticides must demonstrate competence in their respective field of activity and obtain certification from the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques (MELCC).
The online certification exams offered by SOFAD are prescribed under this Act. The certificate is issued by the MELCC when the applicant passes the examination prescribed or recognized by the MELCC.
SOFAD also offers printed guides to properly prepare for the exams.
